Green Is The Way Landscaping respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle information you voluntarily provide when you contact us, request an estimate, arrange landscaping services, or choose to receive text messages.
Information you provide
Depending on how you contact us, we may collect:
- Your name, email address, and phone number.
- Your address, city, or landscaping service location.
- Property type, requested services, scheduling preferences, photos, and information submitted through contact or quote forms.
- Questions, correspondence, and other information you voluntarily provide.
- Your SMS consent choice and, when recorded, the date, source, and disclosure associated with that choice.
Please only share information needed for your inquiry or service request.
How we use information
We may use your information to respond to inquiries, provide estimates, schedule landscaping services, deliver customer service, send appointment reminders and service-related communications, and follow up on services you requested. We use your phone number for SMS communications only when you have provided consent.
Providing a phone number or submitting a form does not, by itself, give consent to receive text messages.
SMS Privacy
We may use your mobile phone number to communicate with you regarding inquiries, estimates, appointments, scheduling, service updates, and customer support when you have provided consent to receive SMS messages.
No mobile opt-in information or text message consent will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
We do not sell personal information for marketing purposes. We do not sell, rent, or transfer SMS consent to another business for its own use. Any service provider involved in delivering communications on our behalf may use necessary information only to provide that service, not for its own marketing.
SMS consent is voluntary and is not a condition of purchasing goods or services. Reply STOP to opt out at any time or HELP for assistance. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Read our SMS Terms & Conditions.
When information may be shared
Information may be shared only as needed to fulfill your requested services, with service providers acting on our behalf, when you direct us to do so, or when required by law. The protections for mobile opt-in information and SMS consent in the SMS Privacy section apply to all such sharing; these records cannot be used for another party’s marketing or promotional purposes.
Website forms and Green Guide
The estimate form sends the information you provide, selected photos, and your SMS preference to Green Is The Way Landscaping by email. The submission records the displayed consent language, its version, the form source, and the time of your request so the business can determine whether you opted in. The Green Guide assistant processes questions within the page without sending them to an external AI service.
The website does not use analytics or advertising trackers or store form and chat information in cookies or browser local storage.
Protection and retention
Access to information should be limited to those who need it to respond to your request or provide services. No internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. Information received by the business is retained as needed for the requested services, applicable recordkeeping obligations, and resolving questions or disputes.
Your choices and questions
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of information you have provided by calling (415) 869-5732. Some records may need to be retained to meet applicable obligations. You may decline SMS messages and still request estimates or services. To stop SMS messages, reply STOP; for help, reply HELP or call us.
Policy updates
We may update this policy when our services or information practices change. The updated version and its date will be posted on this page.
